Sri Lanka reached a major milestone in strengthening national digital resilience with the official launch of the National Cyber Security Operations Center (NCSOC) on 19 September 2025 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo. The Center was established to enhance the nation's ability to detect, defend, and respond to cyber threats impacting government institutions and critical digital infrastructure.
The launch event marked a significant step forward in securing Sri Lanka’s digital landscape.
